Noun is a word (other than a pronoun) used to identify any of a class of people, places, or things. The functions of Noun in a sentence are as a Subject or an Object.
e.g.
“Komeng is playing Mobile Legend.”
Can you guess which one is the Noun?
Basically, it is very easy. The Noun of the above sentence consists of “Komeng” as the subject of the sentence and “Mobile Legend” as the object. In addition, names of living things such as people, animals and also plants are included as Noun.
Let’s go deeper!
Noun is divided into two main forms. They are Countable Noun, which you can count (e.g. chair, car, pencil, etc), and Uncountable Noun, which you CANNOT count (e.g. rice, water, air and sand). Simply talking, whenever you can add A/AN in the singular noun and put S/ES/IES in the end of the noun, it can be certain that the noun is the countable one.
